March has been a busy month for middle school students at SSIS. We started off the month with a visit from George Hart, noted mathematician and sculptor. Mr. Hart led the students through a variety of hands on math activities that resulted in some amazing sculptures. We owe great thanks to Mr. Mark Crowell, MS math teacher, for making the arrangements for Mr. Hart to work with our students. Here is a quick look at some of what they did:
