Dear Parents,

I would like to wish everyone a very restful and wonderful break.  Whether your family staying here in Vietnam or venturing out of Vietnam, have a safe and pleasant week.

Quarter 1 has concluded:

We will be reporting Quarter 1 progress on PowerSchool on Friday, Oct. 28 at about 5pm.  To help us prepare these reports, we have temporarily suspended access for students and parents so that teachers can work over their holiday and the following week to prepare grades and comments.  Thank you for your understanding.

Parent/Teacher conferences:
We warmly welcome you on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3 and 4, to our fall parent/teacher conferences.  Please see the separate eNews article for more information.  The information is at this link.

MacBeth Field trip on Thursday, October 27:

The 10th and 11th graders will be attending a professional production of MacBeth on Thursday, October 27 as a part of their study of that work in English class.  They will depart at 9:15 or so am and return at 2pm. Information has been sent home with 10th and 11th graders.

MRISA Tournament:

Please note that the MRISA HS Volleyball tournament will be starting the Friday we get back. We welcome you to campus to watch these conference games.

*Walk on Wheels Week begins*  A few teachers/students will be in wheelchairs each day this week to promote awareness of the difficulties/challenges of those persons with that challenge.

- PowerSchool made visible to parents and students by 5pm

- HS WWW evaluations sent home (hardcopy) - trip chaperones prepared evaluations for all students in HS - these will be sent home on this day.

- HS Activity eligibility check (based on PowerSchool reports)

- MRISA HS Volleyball Tournament begins

Saturday, 10/29

- Vietnamese classes (but none on 22/10)

- CAS Outreach Day, 8'ish (Orphanage Sports Day) - see Lisa Featherstone for more details.

- MRISA HS Volleyball Tournament ends (evening)

- End of HS Volleyball season

Monday, 10/31 (Day 5)

- Advisory for all grades, 9-12: 12:40pm - 1pm
