Dear Parents,
Thanks for all of your support of our school over the course of this semester. It is hard to believe that we are in the month of December and Winter Break is just around the corner!
Reminder that 1st semester report cards will be distributed on January 18. PowerSchool will be closed to students and parents beginning Dec. 12 and until January 18. This is time that teachers are working on comments and grades towards the Jan. 18 report card distribution. PowerSchool will be available online again on that date as well.
Notes for this week:
1) The HS Vietnamese Parents meeting is this Thursday at 9am in Room C322. It is primarily a time to clarify IB/AP and college admission questions.
2) HS Midterm Exams begin this Thursday and through to the following Thursday, Dec. 15. There are no regularly scheduled classes during this time for HS students. HS students will come to school only for the exams that they are scheduled to take on those days. School uniform is required. See the link here for information about these exams that was on eNews last week and distributed to HS students a few weeks ago.
3) This Wednesday is an Early Release Day (12:15). Students are expected to go home after dismissal. The afternoon is used for teacher professional development.
4) Please reserve next Tuesday, Dec. 13 for the PTA parents meeting, 1:30 in the HS library.
