Dear Parents,
We are nearing our Winter Break, believe it or not, and so this Weekly Bulletin reminds of the many of the events coming up in the Middle School and in the greater SSIS community. Thank you for your support and hope to see you on campus in the weeks ahead.
Terry Fox Run, Nov. 27 (Sunday)
This year, registration will take place before and after school in the plaza during the week of November 21 – 25. Faculty and staff, students, parents and members of the community are welcome and encouraged to register for the run during that time. The suggested donation to register is 100 000 VND. We will also be selling Terry Fox Run t-shirts and hats. T-shirts are 100 000VND and hats are 50 000 VND.
The run will take place on Sunday, 27 November at 8 a.m. at the Crescent. Organizers are hoping to have 10 000 people participate this year, making it the 3rd largest Terry Fox Run outside of Canada. If you are new to HCMC, or haven’t participated before, I encourage you to take part this year. There will be live music and games for kids at the race site. All money raised will go towards cancer research in Vietnam. For more information, contact Pam McKinnon (
