Dear Parents,
Thanks for all of your support of our school over the course of this semester. It is hard to believe that we are in the month of December and Winter Break is just around the corner!
Reminder that 1st semester report cards will be distributed on January. PowerSchool will be closed to students and parents beginning Dec. 12 and until January 18. This is time that teachers are working on comments and grades towards the Jan. 18 report card distribution. PowerSchool will be available online again on that date as well.
Notes for this week:
1) The MS Winter Blast is this Friday at 4pm. This is a fun social activity for MS students. Students are required to be picked up by a parent or adult afterwards. If you permit your son or daughter to walk home or take a taxi home then this should be indicated in writing before the event. Students may pick up these forms at the time they purchase a Blast! ticket.
2) This Wednesday is an Early Release Day (12:15). Students are expected to go home after dismissal. The afternoon is used for teacher professional development.
3) On Monday, MS students will receive a Netbook carrying bag that they will be required to use. We have seen a fair amount of dropped Netbooks and so we are asking students to use these bags to protect this expensive piece of school property.
4) Please reserve next Tuesday, Dec. 13 for the PTA parents meeting, 1:30 in the HS library.
5) The MS Winter Music Concert is next Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7pm- Please come and show your support - it should be a great show!
