Dear Parents,

We have come to the end of another successful, albeit busy, week with all of the After School Activities, soccer games, and daily Advisory activities. This is a good time to reflect on the positive nature of our students and the level of energy they have for all the different activity opportunities throughout the week. It is great to see so many students demonstrating balance in life and developing a sense of self.

An event to take place this evening will be the PTA sponsored Valentine's Day Blast. Blast events take place once per quarter and are quite popular with the students. As of lunch time today, we have 110 students who have purchased a ticket to attend. The event begins at 4:00 and will include a variety of activities for students to gain more opportunities for social interaction in a positive environment. The event ends at 7:00 pm. We ask for students to be picked up to ensure their safety as the road in front of the school is a high traffic area in the evenings. We also ask that students are picked up in a timely manner, no later than 7:15, so all of the parent and teacher volunteers can have an enjoyable evening with their own families.

Next week will also prove to be a busy week. Activities and events happening are as follows:

• Soccer match on Tuesday
• Early Dismissal on Wednesday
• MRISA Soccer trip departs on Thursday for Thailand
• Mid-Quarter Progress Reports posted to Power School on Friday
