Dear SSIS Parents –
We would like to remind all SSIS parents that we will host the opening meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) tomorrow morning at 8:00 am in the Auditorium. All returning and new parents are invited to attend.
All SSIS families are members of the PTA by virtue of having their children enrolled in the school. PTA dues support the great work that the organization does during the year, enriching the life of our community with events such as the Family Fun Days, the Charity Bazaar, as well as sponsoring learning activities, the arts, and much more.
Tomorrow we will thank last year’s Executive Board for their work and introduce our leaders for this school year. I will also do a presentation as Head of School on some of the exciting changes in store for your children this year. The meeting will conclude with a social time for parents to meet other parents and to get to know each other, as well as time to meet and talk with school leaders.
From 9:30 – 10:30 am, each divisional principal will host a session for interested parents on how to become, and stay, more involved with their son or daughter’s SSIS journey.
