Thank you so much to those that were able to attend the MS Back to School Night. We hope the evening was informational and gave you a great look at the types of curriculum your child will be learning this year. For those of you who were unable to attend, here are 2 key points from the evening’s information:
Where can I find information on curriculum?
- You can find a “Year at a Glance” overview of each course on the school’s website. These documents show the major topics of instruction and where those fall within a given year. We are currently updating these for the 2014-2015 school year. Those will be posted by the end of next week. They are located under the “Learning” tab as “Curriculum Overviews.”
- You can also find information about each course on Moodle in the course syllabus. The course syllabus gives more detail about the specific course, requirements and practices within each course. Each course your child takes will have the syllabus in the same place on Moodle. You can locate it in the upper right corner of the screen. You can also find additional course information on Moodle include a link for Homework (located under the course title on each Moodle page), resources, and unit information.
