Dear Parents of HS Students,
I know it is a few weeks late, but best wishes for a Happy New Year, 2015 ! Although we have been back in school for only one week, the pace of school has quickly picked up to the level it was when we left for the Winter Break on 19 December 2014.
I have four announcement related to events for the upcoming week:
1) The IB/AP Parent Night scheduled for Tuesday, 20 January will be held in the AUDITORIUM starting at 7:00 pm. The information is critical for parents of students, and the students, in grade 10 as these students begin the selection process for courses for grade 11 next year. The information is informative for grade 9 students and their parents in the course selection process for next year.
2) Wednesday, 21 January is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:15. The day is a Dress Down Day for students in the HS.
3 ) The NHS Induction Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, 22 January has been re-scheduled for Monday, 2 February from 18:30-19:30. More information will follow next week as to location of the ceremony.
4) Semester report cards were sent out to all HS parents on Wednesday, 14 January as “soft” copies. If you did not get a copy of you son’s/daughter’s report card or you need a hard copy, please email Ms. Thao, HS administrative Assistant, at hsoffice@ssis.edu.vn.
