Valentines is the theme for the second Middle School dance coming on Thursday, February 5th. Middle School students will have the opportunity to dance, listen to music, hang out, and eat dinner together as a group. This is an extra special dance as students coming to SSIS for the MathCounts Competition will also be attending. These MathCounts students are coming from schools all around the region, and what better way to kick off the competition than by making new friends and learning about SSIS. Because of this, the dance has been shifted to a later time, 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Not to worry; students do not have school the next day as it is a Professional Development day for SSIS faculty.
We hope that you will encourage your child to attend. Fun events like this give middle school students a safe social time where they can build positive relationships, meet new people, and enjoy!
