In the Art Room we are always busy, and if you open up all the cupboards and boxes that are stashed away, you’ll discover a treasure trove of wonderful art.
We have been inspired by so many artists this year.
Through their work we have explored many subjects such as: experimenting with color, patterns and texture, 3D sculptures and modeling, color/shades/tints, and still life, to mention but a few.
Romero Britto, Jean DuBuffet, Eric Carle , Jasper Johns, Sol LeWitt, Henri Matisse, Sheila Hicks, Laurel Burch,
Yayoi Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein are some of the artists we have learned about.
The year is almost finished and it is time again for our Art Journeys. On June the 1st (6-7:30 P.M.), we’ll be turning the Elementary and Middle School building into one huge art gallery.
Please mark your calendars and come and see the wonderful work that our EC and ES artists have produced this year. It will be a magical night, not to be missed. See you all there.
