Dear SSIS Parents,
In mid-March we sent you a letter regarding re-enrollments for the 2015-2016 school year. We are pleased that most of you have responded to our letter and we are looking forward to welcoming your children back to SSIS next year. For those of you who are moving away from Saigon and Vietnam, we will miss you and we hope that you will let us know how we can be helpful in helping your son or daughter find the next right school for the coming year.
All schools, in order to accurately plan for classrooms, teachers, and resources, need to have an accurate count of returning students. Knowing how many current students are returning next year allows schools like SSIS to accept new applicants and sign contracts with teachers and vendors and maintain a healthy balance sheet, keeping costs to a minimum.
There are some of you who have neither re-enrolled your child nor informed us that you may be moving away from Vietnam next year. We need to let you know that, as of Monday (13 April 2015), we will begin making open student seats available to families on our waiting lists. Therefore, if it is your intention to return to next year, you need to immediately re-enrollment your son or daughter through the PowerSchool Parent Portal and complete the payment of the enrollment deposit or risk having your child’s seat given away to another student.
