HS Principal’s Coffee on November 26: Building Resilience in Teens
Our next high school principal’s coffee is on Thursday, November 26 from 8:15-9:15 in the HS multipurpose room. The topic this month is building resilience in your teenager. Many universities and employers are reporting that a large portion of youth in the “Next” generation are struggling in university and the workplace, as they have never been allowed to experience significant failure in their lives. These institutions have never experienced the number of young adults unwilling to take significant risks, unaccustomed to failure and inability to learn from mistakes. At this coffee, we will begin a dialogue on how to support “successful failure” in your teen’s life. I hope you can join me.
