SSIS is very pleased to be welcoming American author S.A. (Stephanie) Bodeen to campus from February 22-24, 2016. Stephanie is the author of many acclaimed young adult novels including The Compound; The Gardener and The Raft . She has won more than 20 awards for her fiction, including Publisher’s Weekly Flying Start (2008); YALSA Best Books for Young Adults Nominee (2009, 2011); and the 2013 Bank Street College of Education Best Book of the Year. Stephanie will be working with students from grades 1-12 during her visit to SSIS; in MS, she will be doing a divisional assembly followed up by writing workshops with all Grade 6 and 8 students.
