Dear Parents,
Please join us for the ES Principal’s Coffee Workshop on Thursday, December 1st from 8:15 – 9:30 in B310, Elementary Flex Room. The topic will be “SSIS Math Program Update.”
During this session, we will look at the SSIS math program from three levels: schoolwide, elementary, classroom. We will also look at the past, present, and future of the SSIS Math Program. The presentation will explain:
- Why and how the math program was improved
- Why a change was made with the program
- How the program is implemented at the classroom level
- How parents can support their children at home with regards to math development
- Understand the math practices, in addition to the math domains
This workshop will include a variety of guest speakers, including:
- Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Tina Fossgreen
- Instructional coach for STEM, Kattina Rabdau-Fox
- Grade 2 Teacher, Jeremy Neldon
