Dear SSIS High School Parents and Guardians,
We wanted to communicate our exam schedule for December 2017. Some of you may notice a change from previous years.
- Students will follow their schedules until the last day of the semester: Friday, December 15
- Any and all assessments or exams will be administered during normal scheduled classes
- In June 2018, grades 9-11 we will administer exams in the HS gymnasium to offer practice for the upcoming AP, IB and other standardized exams
We feel this approach will provide teachers with the opportunity to assess student learning in a wider variety of ways (i.e. presentations, project based learning and oral exams).
