Dear SSIS parents,
The PTA is very excited to introduce the SSIS Booster Club this year. My name is Kate Speth, and I am the PTA Booster Club Representative this year. The Booster Club will work collaboratively with Ms. Shelley Wowchuk, SSIS Athletic Director.
A Booster Club is a group of volunteer parents who support and encourage our children, coaches, and teachers in the school athletic program. Extra curriculum sports activities are important to the physical, social, and emotional growth of our children. Healthy minds and healthy bodies! Parent volunteers will prepare healthy snacks & drinks, prepare “noise-makers”, and support upcoming exciting sports events throughout this year. Booster Club participation will give parents an opportunity to cheer on the SSIS Dragons! Students will learn to win without boasting and lose without bitterness because they will have the strong support from their parents right on the spot.
