ES: Music Performances in the Elementary school

Dear parents,

This year, the elementary school music program is looking at a shift away from traditional staged performances for our students.  We are embracing a more integrated curriculum and therefore looking to more united events and showcases, whereby the students will share their music learning with the community as part of Super Unit public performances. Musical content and processes
can be used for interdisciplinary learning that are both authentic to music and integrated with other subject areas, transcending the
traditional boundaries of conventional music concerts. As a result, some performances will look different to what has been done in the past and there will be more opportunities for music sharing and performing in the elementary school throughout the year.
