Dear SSIS Community,
Your children’s safety and security are of the utmost importance to us at SSIS. One aspect of security is to know exactly who is on campus at all times. Over the weekend, we made some changes to improve security measures and to enhance campus safety. These front gate entry changes were implemented this morning and we greatly appreciate your patience as we went through this for the first time.
In summary:
- Use the gate system to enter and exit campus
- Individuals must use their own ID card (one person = one card)
- ID cards will only allow single entry or exit for one person at one time.
In order to better track who is on campus each person must use their own ID card. Individuals will no longer be able to scan in others on their ID card. Please see the receptionist if you need a replacement ID card.
Over the next few days entrance and exit from campus may take longer so please plan extra time into your schedule. Again, thank you sincerely for your cooperation with these safety measures. Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or recommendations.
