Curriculum Night: Thursday, August 15

Dear Parents,

Now that we have completed Orientation Day and the first days of school, it is time to formally launch our curriculum.  This year’s Curriculum Night is scheduled for Thursday, August 15, 2019. All parents & guardians are requested to please attend; please have your children stay at home for this adult-oriented event.  Parents who have children in more than one grade level need to only attend the presentation titled “Curriculum Developments: Changes for this school year” once during curriculum night. All parents are encouraged to visit our school library anytime between 6:00 and 8:20 for snacks, beverages, and an opportunity to meet your child’s specialist teachers.

The agenda will include:

  • Assessment
    • What is our vision for our “Assessment System of the Future?”
    • How are we changing the report card to make it more consistent with this vision?
