Dear Middle School Parents/Guardians,
It’s hard to believe we are only a few short weeks away from the last day of school. We will finish the school year on a strong and positive note, as well as with festivities, recognition, and celebration!
Just this week we hosted the Rising Grade 6 Move Up Day—106 current grade 5 students attended classes in the middle school. We also held Student Council Executive elections and had 19 candidates running for the four open positions. Leadership is blooming in middle school! Finally, our grade 8 students visited Anh Linh Love School and put on a carnival as part of their English Language Arts unit.
During these final weeks, in addition to their summative assessments, there will be concerts, dance performances, a drama production, end-of-unit demonstrations, and an evening dance hosted by StuCo. We know you must be just as excited as we are and look forward to seeing you at many of the events!

May 23 – Grade 8 students deliver annual food drive donations to Anh Linh Love School, 8:00-12:15
May 24 – Rising Grade 9 Move Up Day, 1:00-3:00
May 25 – MS/HS Art Show and Party, 3:15-5:30
We are very excited to bring back this impressive annual event! Middle and high school student artwork will be on display, and MS/HS students will lead art lessons and experiences for ES students. More details to come!

Your child needs to complete several tasks to close out the school year, such as returning textbooks or paying their cafeteria balance.
Please support your child in completing these tasks by Thursday, June 8, we will send you a link to the Middle School Student Check Out 2023 document. When you view it, a red “X” means your child still needs to complete the task. A green highlight means the task has been completed. We thank you in advance for your support with this.
June 9: Final Day of School & Report Cards
Students will be dismissed at 12:15 pm on the final day of school, Friday, June 9. Your child’s report card will be emailed to you the same afternoon.
This has been a very exciting year for all of us! We are so thankful for the learning, sharing, and fun we have had together.
