UPDATE: Presentation from HOS Coffee on Student Achievement

How prepared are our students for college success in the USA or internationally? How do we measure the “intellectual and personal development of each student”?

Our SSIS parent community deserves to know the answers to these questions and others that show how SSIS lives up to its ambitious mission for students to be “prepared for a purposeful life as a global citizen.”

That is why I would like to invite you to a Parent Coffee on Student Achievement on Tuesday, September 24, at 8:15 AM in the Auditorium.

At this coffee, we will share information about our students’ performance 2018-2019 in the areas of academics, college admissions, athletics and activities.

SSIS Compared to US and Worldwide Standards

Mr. David Chadwell, Curriculum Director at SSIS, will share SSIS student achievement on academic standardized tests (grades 3-12) as compared to US and worldwide standards. Ms. Kelly Braun from the University Guidance Office will describe our students’ results in college placement in 2019.

We will also share student achievement in athletics and other areas of the program.

I hope you will join us for this coffee to celebrate our students’ successes and learn what we are working on this year.

I look forward to speaking with you on Tuesday, September 24.

    Dr. Catriona Moran
    Head of School
