Update: Presentation Exploring with Mathematics
How do people become mathematical thinkers? In this month’s Elementary Principal Coffee, on Thursday, October 3 at 8:15, parents will find out.
At “Exploring with Mathematics,” STEM Coach Kattina Rabdau-Fox will let parents experience a day in the life of an Elementary School student. Parents will gain an understanding of how:
- children explore mathematics
- build conceptual knowledge and skills
- children practice communication, modeling, and problem-solving every day
