UPDATE WITH RECORDED CURRICULUM NIGHT Presentation by Dr. Keller: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8WVj_uZ3PI&feature=youtu.be

Due to government restrictions related to COVID-19, we will unfortunately not be able to host this year’s ES Curriculum Night on campus. However, we have restructured our “Curriculum Night” into a comprehensive Curriculum Orientation that will provide you with all of the information that you will need to understand your child’s ES curriculum this year.

Curriculum Orientation in Two Parts

Your Curriculum Orientation contains two parts, both online: pre-recorded videos and an individual Google Meet with your child’s classroom teacher.

Part 1- Three Videos

On Thursday, August 20, you will receive three pre-recorded videos:

  1. School year orientation – by Elementary School Principal Dr. Keller (this video is the same for all grades)
  2. Grade-level curriculum orientation – by your child’s homeroom teacher
  3. Specialist program orientation – by your child’s specialist teachers

It is very important that you take the time to watch these videos on Thursday, August 20. They will prepare you for the second part of the Curriculum Orientation, and the individual Google Meet with your child’s classroom teacher.

Part 2 – Individual Google Meet (Grades 1-5)

Over the next few weeks, your child’s homeroom teacher will reach out to you to schedule a short Google Meet, where you will have the opportunity to meet with them individually.

We hope that you will find this virtual Curriculum Night format informative and that it will meet your needs as a parent at the start of the year.

Warm regards,

Daniel J. Keller, PhD

Elementary School Principal
