Dear SSIS KG–5 Parents,
We hope this has been a positive and exciting start to the school year for your child! It has been great to see everyone back on campus and involved in school life.
On Monday, August 22 at 9:00 am we will open registrations for After School Activities (ASAs). We encourage you to sign up quickly as spots fill up quickly.
SSIS is offering a wide range of free teacher-led activities for our KG-5 students, as well as paid outside-vendor sessions (see details below). Note: EC students will be able to sign up for ASAs in Season 2 (November 15).
SchoolsBuddy for ASA Registration
To register your child for ASAs on Monday, August 22, you must have a SchoolsBuddy account.
- RETURNING PARENTS: Please use your existing SchoolsBuddy login (you can reset your password if you have forgotten it).
- NEW PARENTS: If you are a new parent, or if you do not have a SchoolsBuddy account, you have been sent a registration email from SchoolsBuddy. You must register through the link in that email. (Please check your spam folder if you cannot find the email in your inbox, and add “noreply@schoolsbuddy.com” to your contacts so that you don’t miss future messages.)
After logging in to SchoolsBuddy, you will find the ASAs available for your child under “Activities, Clubs and Bookings.” Here you can choose your ASAs.
Important: ASA Confirmation Process
After you’ve made your selections, you will receive an email confirmation from SchoolsBuddy. Please note, however, the selections are not yet finalized.
On Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00 pm you will receive a second confirmation from SchoolsBuddy, listing what ASAs your child has been assigned. Your child may not get every activity you requested, as SchoolsBuddy assigns the ASAs
After you receive the second confirmation, you can make more ASA requests until Thursday, August 25 at 3:00 pm. Use the “Ask to Join” request (found below the activity on SchoolsBuddy) to register for additional ASAs.
Paid Activities – No Limits
You can sign up your child for as many paid activities through SchoolsBuddy as you would like. Please note that ALL activity payments are nonrefundable (unless the program is canceled by SSIS). Fees for paid activities must be paid in cash in the SSIS Business Office (C128). Please do not make payments via bank transfer.
ASA Transportation
If you would like your child to ride the bus home after ASAs, please sign up for the SSIS Bus Service for your child by contacting Ms. Vy Tran in the SSIS Business Office (busing@ssis.edu.vn, 028 5413 0901 ext: 31281). Links for school buses will be provided after ASA confirmation.
We are so excited to be able to offer our ASA program, once again. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to enjoy time together, make friends and build new skills. Thank you for allowing your child the opportunity to participate!
