Dear SSIS EC/KG–5 Parents and Guardians,
Many students enjoyed participating in our Season 1 after-school activities program, and we hope that many more students will sign up for our Season 2 Activities offerings.
On Tuesday, November 15, we will open registrations for After-School Activities (ASAs). We encourage you to sign up right away as spots fill up quickly. Sign ups will close on Friday, November 18 at 4:00 pm. (See below for the registration process.)
SSIS is offering a wide range of free teacher-led activities for our EC/KG–5 students, as well as paid outside-vendor sessions (see details below). The Season 2 ASA session will run from November 28, 2022 – March 8, 2023.

SchoolsBuddy for ASA Registration
To register your child for ASAs on November 15, you will need to log in to your SchoolsBuddy account (you can reset your password if you have forgotten it). Please read this post to make sure you know how to access your SchoolsBuddy account.
After logging in to SchoolsBuddy, you will find the ASAs available for your child under “Activities, Clubs and Bookings.” Here you can choose the activities for your child.
Important: ASA Confirmation Process
After you have made your selections, you will receive an email notification (not a confirmation) from SchoolBuddy.
On Thursday, November 17, after 12:00 pm, you will receive a confirmation email from SchoolsBuddy. This email will list which activities your child has been assigned. Please note: SchoolsBuddy automatically assigns the ASAs, therefore your child may not get every activity you requested.
On Thursday, November 17, at 7:00 pm, SchoolsBuddy will open once again. If your child was not able to join the activities they wanted, you can use the “Ask to Join” request to register for additional activities (if there are spots available).
You will be able to make more ASA requests until Friday, November 18 at 4:00 pm.

Paid Activities
You can sign up your child for as many paid activities through SchoolsBuddy as you would like. Please note that ALL activity payments are nonrefundable (unless the activity is canceled by SSIS). Fees for paid activities must be paid in cash in the SSIS Business Office (Room C128). Please do not make payments via bank transfer.
ASA Transportation
If you would like your child to ride the bus home after ASAs, please sign up for the SSIS Bus Service by contacting Ms. Vy Tran in the Business Office (busing@ssis.edu.vn, 028 5413 0901 ext: 31281). Links for school buses will be provided after ASA confirmation.
Please note: Children in EC and KG are not permitted to take the after-school activities bus. EC/KG students must be picked up by a parent or caregiver at the location of each activity.
We are excited that we can continue to offer our ASA program. These activities are a wonderful opportunity for our students to enjoy time together, make new friends, and build new skills. Thank you for allowing your child to participate!
