As we celebrate this 25th year as a top-tier educational institution, we look upon the mission that we have served over the past two decades with great pride. Nurturing your children to lead purposeful lives as global citizens has been, and continues to be, a true privilege.
Our students do exceedingly well at availing themselves of the many opportunities our unique program provides and are accepted at the finest universities in the world, where they continue to excel intellectually and personally.
To ensure that we attract and retain the most experienced educators for your children and provide the best teaching and learning environments, we continue to develop our program and our facilities each year.
New Facilities
In December 2023, the construction of our new Middle School and HS STEAM/Design center will be completed, adding more than 18,700 sqm of innovative learning spaces for our students. Your children’s tuition will go directly to funding these projects, in addition to funding the operations of the school. These state-of-the-art facilities and the new positions we are adding to each division will allow us to expand our programs across all of the STEAM disciplines: science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics for the benefit of all students.
New Positions
As our school continues to grow and expand in both size and program, three brand new positions have been created to further support your children next year; an Education Technology Director, an additional Middle School Counselor, and one more High School Visual Arts teacher. Furthermore, we are reintroducing a dedicated Athletics Director and an ES STEAM Coach to support our growing programs.
New Course Offerings
The new course offerings in all divisions for the 2023-2024 school year include the following:
- HS Art: Digital Design
- HS Social Studies: AP Comparative Government
- HS Social Studies: Modern Global Issues
- HS Math: IB Application and Interpretation SL
- HS Science: Applied Physics
- HS Physical Education: Sport, Recreation, and Leadership
- MS Arts: Intermediate Dance
- Expansion of MS Band: Beginning Band and Intermediate Band
- Expansion of MS Computer Science & Engineering: Introduction to Robotics and Coding and Advanced Robotics and Coding
- ES Grade 1 Dance and Movement
In support of the developments to our curriculum this year and to our building projects the tuition fees will increase by an average of 5-6%.

As the only not-for-profit school in Ho Chi Minh City, SSIS fees compare most favorably to other international schools in the city while we continue to expand our wonderful facilities and programs for the benefit of your children.
