Dear SSIS Parents,
On Friday, October 4th, between 8:15 and 9:50 AM we will have the pleasure of introducing you to two HS Principal candidates that are visiting our campus. We will hold one 40 minute session with each candidate, and encourage you to attend one or both, depending on your schedule.

How Will the Sessions Work?
During these meetings, we will support parents with a list of questions that you may want to ask our HS Principal candidates, and you are also free to ask your own questions. We encourage you to sign-up below so that we know how many parents to expect.
At the end of the sessions, you will be able to submit your feedback on each candidate through a survey.
HS Principal Candidate Session Times and Candidate Bios
Below you will find the exact time and dates of each candidate, as well as a short bio of each one. Last week you should have received two emails from the Head of School with in-depth information, as well as each candidate’s full resume.
Candidate 1 – Brett Stousland
Friday, October 4, 8:15 – 8:55 AM in the MPR
Brett Stousland is currently the District Administrator for the Barneveld School District in Barneveld, Wisconsin (USA). In the past five years, he has grown his school district to one of the highest-achieving districts in the region. During his twenty-six years as an educator, Mr. Stousland has worked at the American International Schools of Zagreb, Croatia, and Cyprus where he enthusiastically served as K-12 Principal and developed a dedication to International Education.

Candidate 2 – Jennifer Mendes
Friday, October 4, 9:05 – 9:50 AM in the MPR
Jennifer Mendes is currently the High School Assistant Principal at Concordia International School Shanghai (China). Mrs. Mendes is an experienced IBDP educator having taught IBDP Spanish at the Anglo-American School of Moscow and at the American International School of Johannesburg. Her broad experience of the AP program allowed her to grow the AP offerings and scheduling practices at the American School of Dubai (ASD) and Concordia International School Shanghai (CISS), where she also has established a meaningful Advisory program.
