UPDATE: Literacy Assessment Presentation

On Thursday, December 5, ES Principal Coffee will be presented by our Elementary School Instructional Literacy coach, Evelyn Lucero. The Principal Coffee will be held in the MPR, from 8:15 – 9:30.

Most parents know that Literary Assessments are important. But, do you know why? And do you know what they mean for your child? During this Principal Coffee, Ms. Lucero will explain to parents what the different literacy assessments measure, and how the results of the reading, spelling, and writing assessments are used to help teachers understand what students know and what they need to learn next.

We will talk about the information we get from our literacy assessments and what you can do at home, and anywhere to support your child. Parents will also receive tips and a list of questions that they can use to ask their children, to help them.
