Like you, we expect that our students will set themselves apart today and in the future as they pursue purposeful lives as global citizens. Each day, we support and nurture your children to reach their highest potential with this goal in mind.
Summer internships are one significant way students can set themselves apart. Last year’s summer internship program was hugely successful, thanks to the many parents who received students in their companies and organizations. Several of you have already offered to take on SSIS interns again this year, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
This year, we hope that there will be even more opportunities for students to learn from the esteemed professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders among our parents.
Would you consider offering an SSIS student an internship in your organization or company?
The brief three-week commitment can have a lifelong impact. Summer internships provide students with unique insights into the expectations of a professional environment, can further inspire their academic pursuits, and when applying to university, demonstrates how their motivations and pursuits extend beyond their on-campus achievements.
In previous years, our students have excelled in entry-level tasks such as writing articles, designing posters, and assisting managers in various fields, including media & journalism, law, medicine & health, hotel management, hospitality, and engineering.
