Dear Grade 1–5 Parents,
We are so excited to welcome you and your children to the new school year!
On August 9, all students—new and returning—will attend the new school year orientation. Each student should be accompanied by at least one parent.
The orientation will include:
- Welcome to the new school year
- A short presentation of the 2022–2023 school year
- Welcome to the homeroom class
- An opportunity for students and parents to visit classrooms and meet their classroom teachers, specialist teachers, and classmates
- School year preparations
- Purchase school uniforms and supplies (as needed), arrange for bus services, receive Powerschool registration help (if needed), deposit cafeteria funds into your child’s meal account on their SSIS ID card, and receive your child’s schedule.
The schedule is arranged by the students’ last names. Please look below to see what time you should attend. If you have multiple children entering elementary school, you are invited to join other groups before or after your schedule, at your convenience.
