Dear Parents –
I would like to renew my invitation to parents of our current junior and senior students to meeting with Mr. Terry Giffen, an outside consultant who is visiting SSIS this week to discuss ways to further enhance our services in the area of university and college admissions.
Mr. Giffen is an expert in the university and college guidance process. He has served as Head of University Guidance at elite private schools in the United States and is on a first name basis with the Directors of Admissions at all the top universities in the country and around the world. He will hold two meetings with SSIS parents tomorrow:
9:10 – 9:50 am – Head of School Office, Conference Room
10:50 – 11:30 am – Head of School Office, Conference Room
What we hope to learn from you, our parents, is your experience with the college application process here at SSIS and how we can be even more helpful to you. What we want to share with you are helpful tips on how to navigate this process, which can be stressful and complicated, for the best outcome for your student.
I hope to see many of you tomorrow. If we have a large group of parents in attendance, we will move the meeting to the High School multipurpose room on the fourth floor.
