Hello!
Every year, SSIS works together to collect items to be donated to Anh Linh Love School in District 7. The students at this school are some of the most underprivileged in the city and often return to school malnourished after the summer holidays. In the past, SSIS students have donated literal truckloads of food to support the school and these students.
This year, we are expanding beyond non-perishable food items to also include personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, etc.), backpacks, small games and toys, helmets, sports equipment, and water bottles. Please help us continue this outreach by sending in donated items. You can deliver these to your child’s classroom, to the Elementary School office, or to room A203 in the Middle School building. We are collecting until May 17.
