The largest Terry Fox Run outside of Canada, the 23rd HCMC Terry Fox Run will be held in Phu My Hung on Sunday, November 17. The run will start at 8 am on Tan Trao Street, in front of Petroland Tower (see location on Google Maps). Last year more than 23,000 people participated!
SSIS has long been a strong supporter of the HCMC Terry Fox Run, as participants, volunteers, and through the funds we raise for cancer research. This non-competitive 5 KM run is suitable for the whole family and raises money for a great cause.
How to Register for the Run
Registration is open before, and after school, every day this week in the Plaza. In keeping with Terry Fox’s dream, there is no required, or minimum donation to participate in the run. Simply register and receive your number.
You can also support the Terry Fox Run by buying a Terry Fox Run t-shirt for 200.000 VND. Sizes range from 2XS to 3XL and are also on sale before and after school this week. Be sure to get your size early, many run out!
All the money received through donations and t-shirt sales will go to cancer research in Vietnam. Earlier years contributions have made an incredible difference in thousands of people’s lives in this country. All the proceeds stay in Vietnam.
