Dear HS Parents,
The following information was sent to High School students.
The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be administered from May 3 – 14, 2021 at SSIS. Students currently enrolled in an SSIS AP Course are required to take the AP exam and have already begun the College Board registration process in their classes.
Students who are not in an SSIS AP Course and request to take an AP exam at SSIS must submit a formal request by 3 pm on September 14, 2020. Students have received an email regarding this, with a link to the form. Once completed, the principal, counselors, and AP coordinator will review the request. The approval process will include a review of the number of AP examinations that a student is taking in a given year. Students and parents will be notified if the request has been approved by September 25, 2020.
All payments for College Board AP Course Administration must be received by 3 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020, to allow time for the ordering of all exams. Invoices will be sent later this month to students in AP classes and those who have had exam requests approved.
Please note that this registration process should be handled by your child. And if you think that your child may be interested in taking the AP exam, we encourage you to discuss it together.
