Parent Education, October 13: SSIS Community Resilience Building Strengths to Survive and Thrive

96

Resilience is an essential lifelong skill. Those that have it, have a source of strength to tap into when times are tough. The good news is that anyone can build strengths that will grow their resilience.

On Wednesday, October 13 at 10:00 am, psychologist Tony Louw will show parents how to help their children survive and thrive during challenging times, in our next Parent Education session in the Wellness series. (See Dragon Digest, Friday, October 8 for Zoom link)

Parents will also hear from SSIS teachers who will share how our programs are supporting students in building their resilience – a skill that will benefit them today and in the future.
