The Department of Education and Training (DoET) requires that schools submit up-to-date records on Covid vaccinations and boosters.
Recording Covid Vaccinations & Boosters in the SSIS Health App
As the SSIS Health App has proven very efficient for the accurate collection of Covid vaccination information, we ask that you use it to submit your child’s Covid vaccination and booster records. The app is available for download on iOS and Android. (You can find further installation instructions on SSIS Link).
You should use the SSIS Health App to:
- Update your child’s Covid vaccination/booster records (Note: Please upload each vaccination record separately)
- Submit your child’s positive or negative Covid test
- Upload quarantine completion certificates from the local Ministry of Health.
Registration for Vaccinations and Future Covid Boosters
The District 7 DoET will provide opportunities this semester for students from the age of 12 and above to receive the third Covid booster. If your child is 12 or above has not yet had the Covid booster, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
In addition, there will be opportunities for children 5 – under 18 to receive Covid vaccinations. If your child is 5 – under 18 and has not been vaccinated, we also encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.
