Head of School Letter: You’re Invited – Coffee with Dr. Moran

    Dear SSIS Parents,

Parent input is an essential part of any school’s success. That is why, in addition to our parent surveys and questionnaires, I host a set of formal coffees with parents each fall, called “Coffee with Dr. Moran.” These sessions aim to ensure we maintain an open dialogue regarding our school’s future and current path; your voice is a vital pillar in developing our strategic plan and “SSIS Vision 2030”, the educational program that will lead our students into the future.

REGISTER FOR COFFEE WITH DR. MORAN

As we do not want to limit the opportunity for you to make your voice heard regarding these and other critical topics, “Coffee with Dr. Moran” is facilitated in our four major language groups; English, Vietnamese, Korean, and Mandarin.

Thus, it gives me great pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the “Coffee with Dr. Moran” session that suits you the best; English, Vietnamese, Korean, or Mandarin.

    • English: Wednesday, September 16, 9:00 – 10:00 am, Royal 1 ballroom, 3rd floor, Crystal Palace
    • 中文: Wednesday, September 16, 1:00 – 2:00 pm, SSIS School Cafe
    • 한국어: Thursday, September 17, 9:00 – 10:00 am, Royal 1 ballroom, 3rd floor, Crystal Palace
    • Tiếng Việt: Thursday, September 17, 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Royal 1 ballroom, 3rd floor, Crystal Palace.

As health and safety regulations prevent us from hosting “Coffee with Dr. Moran” on campus, we have made arrangements to hold socially distanced gatherings off-site at Merperle Crystal Palace, Lot C17-1-2 Nguyen Luong Bang street, Tan Phu ward, Phu My Hung, District 7 (see exact dates and times above). Each session is limited to 30 people, so I encourage you to register as soon as possible, using the link to this form if you are interested in attending.

You may also submit specific topics or questions on the form that you would like me to address in the registration form, and I will do my best to answer them during our session. Common themes that arise will be noted and a summary will be sent home once all of the sessions have been completed.

If you are unable to attend “Coffee with Dr. Moran” and would like to meet with me, I welcome you to make an appointment by contacting my assistant, Ms. Oanh, at odao@ssis.edu.vn. I’m always available to meet with parents and to receive your feedback.

Thank you for your support and engagement in our SSIS community.

    All good wishes,

    Dr. Catriona Moran
    Head of School
