Re-enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year

    Dear SSIS Parents,

Our school’s mission, to prepare your children for college and purposeful lives as global citizens, has proven resilient to time. We are proud of our students’ many accomplishments and that they avail themselves of the opportunities we provide. As I shared in my recent parent presentation, our students are accepted to the finest universities in the world where they continue to excel intellectually and personally.

To ensure that your children are offered the opportunities that will lead them to reach their highest potential, we maintain high-quality programs in all areas of our curriculum, delivered by the most experienced educators, in facilities that provide the best teaching and learning environment.

In support of your children, we’ve added several key positions next school year; a Director of Activities and Community Engagement, an additional ES Counselor, the addition of an Associate Principal in our Middle School, a High School Learning Program Coordinator, an additional MS Tech and IT Teacher and two new support staff positions. And we are very hopeful that we will break ground this summer on both our new middle school building and our new STEM/Design center.

As you can see, we are steadfast in our commitment to your child’s success and ensuring that they have the best opportunities.

Each year, when we determine the fee structure for the following school year, we balance our commitment to your children with our community’s needs. We understand that the past years have been difficult for our community, and are grateful for the support of our Board who made it possible for the school to extend tuition credits or rebates to alleviate families’ needs during the most difficult times.

This year, as we embark on the building improvements and expansion necessary to facilitate our new programs, and as we have added key personnel to enhance our offerings, we will make an adjustment to our tuition.

For EC & KG families next year’s tuition will increase by 6%. For all other students, i.e. grades 1 – 12, the increase will be 5%. A detailed breakdown can be seen in the Statement of Tuition and Fees for 2022 – 2023, and we ask that you re-enroll no later than May 12, 2022.

With this, we wish to extend our gratitude to all of our families for the support that you continue to show the school, for your belief in our mission, and for entrusting us with the education of your child.

    All good wishes,

    Dr. Catriona Moran
    Head of School
