Grade 9

Today the 9th graders ventured out into the community to experience two exciting activities- bowling and archery tag. Houses Naga and Hydra, the first group to experience archery tag, had a great time firing arrows at their opponents in the large outdoor arena. Meanwhile, houses Shenlong and Wyvern were bowling strikes galore at the bowling alley in Vivo City. After a Banh Mi lunch, the groups swapped activities for the afternoon. The students also had team-building activities ‘Human Knot’ and ‘Switch the Mat’ during their day.

Grade 10

Ending last night with roasting marshmallows, our Grade 10 students enjoyed a balanced day of physical rigor, educational awareness, and reflective growth. Students conquered a challenging hike through Cuc-Phuong National Park and spent time reflecting on their past and future journeys at the incredible landmark noting the halfway point of the hike. They also visited a bear sanctuary and learn about the value of conservation and preservation of species.

Grade 11

After last night’s performances and team-building activities, the Grade 11 class continued their combined service work today putting the final touches on the playground and library in anticipation of this afternoon’s celebratory completion. The students are looking forward to spending time with the local elementary school students and seeing the impact that their work has on the community. This will surely be a special evening for reflection on Sense of Self and Dedication to Service.

Grade 12

The Senior class reached their second to the final day, crossing town to attend the Saigon International School’s University Fair at ISHCMC where they will had the chance to meet nearly 100 universities. Students heard from university representatives what schools are looking for in students, and learned how to better vet universities for the best fit. After the university fair, seniors will enjoy an evening of camaraderie and celebration at a restaurant in District 2.
